Cartref Station Road is situated in the village of Llanishen a short walk from the main shopping centre.

The home has the facility for 34 residential rooms and 19 residential rooms within two secure units supporting residents with dementia needs.

There are 2 lounge areas, a conservatory, dining room and a quiet library located on the ground floor of the home and each of the secure units have a lounge, dining room and share an activities room. There are 4 lifts in the buildings that serve the 3 floors. All residents have their own private rooms, some of which are en-suite.

The home has a full time Activities Co-ordinator who offers the residents a range of indoor and outdoor activities designed to encourage independence and confidence, not to mention having plenty of fun as well.
